Frogarina

The Frogarina is an instrument I designed and made utilising 3D modelling and printing. It is based upon a traditional 6 hole ocarina within the body of a frog. Each frog is printed using a resin based material and then meticulously hand painted and embellished by me. I use acrylic paint, micro beads and diamante crystals to decorate the frogs, each in its own unique way.

There are currently two sizes of frog. The smaller is in the key of F sharp and the larger in the key of D. They are meant to be both functional and ornamental. Something you could put on your mantelpiece for display. The smaller frog can be worn with a strap, around the neck as a pendant piece.
